Taller de Tortillas

On the same day as the Shoe Factory, we learned how to make tortillas.

Shoe Factory

We recently took a field trip with our Spanish teacher.  Her family owns and operates a shoe factory here in Costa Rica.  She admitted that it would be more cost effective to import shoes made elsewhere, but they keep the factory going in the memory and tradition of her father.
