Mining

Seth had been so fascinated by the Gold Rush we read about in history that I made sure to take him mining. While we were in North Carolina we went to the Elijah Mountain Gem Mine.

As we work through Story of the World, Vol. 3, it was recommended to make President cards. I printed up these cards, then had them bound into little books (about $.50 each here).

I also made up these extra cards. The answers were found in SOTW Vol. 3 Activity Guide and Don't Know Much About Presidents by Ken Davis.
